Worrell Harvesting Ltd is a long established company who have been harvesting and hauling forestry timber for many years. The crucial continuity of the supply of wood chip is ensured because

a) We have the infrastructure and the experience to handle large volumes of timber
b) We have complete control over the harvesting and haulage of this timber, which means we have the ability to increase or decrease the production of wood chip as the market demands
c) Virgin timber from our forests with no contamination.

Our wood chips are produced from timber sourced from forests which are well-managed from an environmental point of view. The timber is then stacked in one of our depots for a period of 12 months to reduce the moisture content. We can supply wood chip ranging from 15% to 60% in moisture content.

We deliver from one ton to an artic load in bulk to domestic and commercial boilers all over the country. Our chip size and moisture content can vary to suit particular boilers. The specifications of the chips are agreed in advance with our customers. Wood chips are also suitable for gallops and livestock stand-off pads.
